With TomTom HOME you can store backups and downloads on your computer. The exact location of these backups and downloads is shown in HOME. You can also change this location.

To find out which TomTom HOME version you have installed, click Help > About TomTom HOME.

TomTom HOME automatically checks for new updates. You can also download the latest version from www.tomtom.com/home.

HOME 2.2 or higher
Windows: Click Tools > TomTom HOME Preferences in the main menu of HOME and then select the Folder Preferences tab.
Macintosh: Click TomTom HOME > Preferences in the main menu of HOME and then select the Folder Preferences tab.
To change the location click Browse.

Macintosh: Click TomTom HOME > Preferences in the main menu and then select the Advanced tab.
To change the location click Browse.

Note: Make sure that you choose a location on your computer. Do not select your TomTom device.
