Update October 2004 - TomTom GPS 3.07 - Pocket PC

Is this update for me ?
This update should be installed if you have:

An HP-h6300 series PDA (+ Bluetooth GPS)
MDA2/XDA2/QTEK2020

Please note:
Remove the SD card if inserted.

How do I update?
Step 1. Download the update file
Press the button below to start downloading the update. Save the file to your computer first by selecting Save when prompted. Save the file in a place where you can easily find it again for step 3 of the installation, e.g. on the Desktop or in My Documents.

Note: When your internet connection does not allow you to download the EXE file: use the Download ZIP to install the update.
Extract all files to save on your PC and click on ttnupd.exe.

Step 2. Connect your device to the PC with ActiveSync.
The Pocket PC is connected when the ActiveSync icon in the system tray of your computer is green.

Step 3. Unpack and start installation
Double-click ttnupg307.exe; the installation will start. Please be patient, this might take a few minutes.

Step 4. Install the update
When the installer has started, select your language.

Then select Install TomTom Navigator and click the next button.

Follow the instructions of ActiveSync. The update will automatically replace the previous version of TomTom GPS, you will not be prompted. After installation the TomTom GPS wizard will start and reset your device.

How can I check the version number of TomTom GPS?
Go to the Pocket PC Start menu, select Settings, select tab System, select GPS. TomTom GPS is now started. The version number can be found at the bottom of the screen on tab GPS.
