Update October 2004 - TomTom Navigator 3.07 - Pocket PC

Is this update for me ?
This update should be installed if you have:

a PDA using Windows Mobile™ 2003 Second Edition including HP37xx, HP47xx
(check: Start - Settings - System - About)

This update also installs the GPS-driver 3.07. Therefore this update can also be used if you have:

an HP63xx Pocket PC (+ Bluetooth GPS)
MDA2/XDA2/QTEK2020

This update cannot be used when you installed TomTom Traffic Plug-In. Please go to MyTomTom and click on the traffic section to find the right download.
This update cannot be used with TomTom Navigator for Palm.
This update cannot be used with TomTom Navigator 2 for Pocket PC.
This update cannot be used with TomTom HP Navigation Pack (HP iPAQ rz1710 + TomTom Navigator).

Please note:
If you have a PDA using Windows Mobile SE or an HP37xx, HP47xx or HP63xx Pocket PC please follow these instructions:

Remove the SD card if inserted.
Install this application update.

How do I update?

Step 1. Download the update file
Press the button below to start downloading the update. Save the file to your computer first by selecting Save when prompted. Save the file in a place where you can easily find it again for step 3 of the installation, e.g. on the Desktop or in My Documents.

Note: When your internet connection does not allow you to download the EXE file: use the Download ZIP to install the update.
Extract all files to save on your PC and click on ttnupd307.exe.

Step 2. Connect your device to the PC with ActiveSync.
The Pocket PC is connected when the ActiveSync icon in the system tray of your computer is green.

Step 3. Unpack and start installation
Double-click ttnupd307.exe; the installation will start. Please be patient, this might take a few minutes.

Step 4. Install the update
When the installer has started, select your language.

Then select Install TomTom Navigator and click the next button.

Follow the instructions of ActiveSync. The update will automatically replace the previous version of TomTom Navigator, you will not be prompted. After installation the TomTom Navigator wizard will start and reset your device. Start TomTom Navigator by tapping TomTom Navigator in the Today screen. Verify that you now have TomTom Navigator version 3.07 installed.

How can I check the version number of TomTom Navigator?
In TomTom Navigator, go to Map View, then select About... from the File menu.

What's new or improved in TomTom Navigator 3.07

Easy installation on a PDA that comes with Windows Mobile Second Edition.
TTN3 is unaffected by an incoming call on a MDA2/XDA2/QTEK2020 or an HP-h6300 (+ Bluetooth GPS) series PDA.
