TomTom HOME is not compatible with NAVIGATOR 5/MOBILE 5- or earlier versions of these products.
If your navigation device is connected to HOME, click the button in the bottom right corner of HOME to disconnect it.
Exit TomTom HOME. Click the HOME icon in the Windows system tray and select Exit.
Click the Windows start button > Control Panel > Uninstall a program.
Select TomTom HOME and then click Uninstall/Change.
If Windows needs your permission click Continue.
In the TomTom HOME Uninstall Wizard click Next and then Uninstall.
Click Finish.
TomTom HOME has now been removed from your PC.
If you also wish to remove data HOME stored on your computer follow the steps below.
Items in your documents folder:
Click the Windows start button and go to Documents > TomTom > HOME > Download
Drag the complete folder to the desktop or another location outside the TomTom folder.
This ensures that you have a backup of items downloaded via TomTom HOME.
Go back to Documents, right-click the TomTom folder and then select Delete.
Application data
Click the Windows start button and go to Computer.
Make sure hidden files are shown: Click Organize > Folder and Search Options and select the View tab. Then select Show hidden files and folders.
Go to Computer > Local Disk > Users > your user folder > AppData > Roaming. Then right-click the TomTom folder and select Delete.
Go to Computer > Local Disk > Users > your user folder > AppData > Local. Then right-click the TomTom folder and select Delete.
If your navigation device is connected to HOME, click the button in the bottom right corner of HOME to disconnect it.
Exit TomTom HOME. Click the HOME icon in the Windows system tray and select Exit.
Click the Start > Control Panel and then double-click Add or Remove programs.
Select TomTom HOME and then click Change/Remove.
In the TomTom HOME Unistall Wizard click Next and then Uninstall.
Click Finish.
TomTom HOME has now been removed from your PC.
If you also wish to remove data HOME stored on your computer follow the steps below.
Items in your documents folder:
Click Start and go to My Documents > TomTom > HOME > Download
Drag the complete folder to the desktop or another location outside the TomTom folder.

Go back to My Documents, right-click the TomTom folder and then select Delete.

Quit TomTom HOME by pressing its icon in the dock and then selecting Quit.
From the Finder menu, click Go > Applications.
Drag TomTom HOME.app to the trash.

Note: We recommend backing up items downloaded via TomTom HOME. In your Documents folder, locate TomTom > HOME > Download. Then drag the complete folder to the desktop or another location outside the TomTom folder.
Items in your Documents folder:
Drag the TomTom folder to the trash.
Items in your library:
In your user folder, go to Library > Application Support. Drag the TomTom HOME folder to the trash.
